Dennis Eiland
Dennis
was born in Columbus, Georgia, in 1944. His family moved to Opp, Alabama,
in 1955. He still lives in this small town located in southeastern Alabama.
At six years old, he was given a BB gun. Since then, he has had a passion
for hunting. His childhood home was surrounded by seven acres of woodland.
There was plenty of small game on the property, and he and his brother
hunted every day. Today, Dennis is a professional helicopter mechanic
employed by Dyn Corp, an aircraft maintenance contractor in Fort Rucker,
Alabama. He writes a monthly column in Full Cry magazine entitled
Rat Terrier News. His hobbies include hunting, writing, and performing
as an amateur musician and singer. He and his wife, Ronzana, have been
married for 36 years. They have two daughters, Kerri, 33, and Laurie,
28. He has eight dogs, of which two are finished squirrel dogs.
